What is it made for?

Clear-It is made to unclog your black water holding tank. Clear-It provides a fast-acting solution to break up tough clogs while you sleep. (Clear-It works overnight in most cases.) This product is significantly more potent and powerful than RV Digest-It Classic, so we recommend using Clear-It for unclogging holding tanks.

How do you use it?

Most tank clogs come from pyramid plugs (literal pyramids of poop in your black tank!). Clear-It will easily digest these clogs. It will also digest and dissolve residual waste and sludge, so you can unclog and deep clean tanks with old, compacted waste. Simply follow the instructions on the label to quickly and easily unclog your holding tank. Here’s a brief overview of these instructions:

1. Close your black tank valve.
2. If you can, add several gallons of water to your black tank. The more water you have in your tank, the better Clear-It will work!
3. Pour one entire bottle of Clear-It into your black tank through your RV’s toilet.
4. Let sit for 12+ hours. The longer you let Clear-It work, the better your results will be! There is no amount of time that is too long for Clear-It to be left it your tanks. Clear-It will not damage your tanks. In fact, the longer you can let Clear-It work, the better! We recommend 72 hours for optimal clog removal. The solids in your holding tank should be liquefied after the treatment period. 
5. Open your black tank valve and allow the tank to empty.
6. If you have a tank rinser (i.e., a flusher), allow it to run for roughly 20-30 minutes. That way, your tank will be rinsed out thoroughly. 
7. Repeat if necessary.
8. Close your black tank valve. Only open it when you're dumping so you never have to deal with this problem again!

Using Unique Clean-It

How do you use it?

As a powerful bacterial and enzymatic cleaner, Restore-It will easily and quickly digest solid waste and toilet paper that is caking onto your black tank sensors. Simply follow these instructions: 

1. Close your black tank valve.
2. Fill your tank with water. (Water must cover your highest sensor to clean it.)
3. Shake your bottle of Restore-It very well.
4. Pour ½ bottle of Restore-It into your black tank.
5. Let sit for as long as possible. While there’s no limit to how long you can leave Restore-It in your tank, we recommend 48-72 hours for optimal cleaning. 
6. Open your black tank valve and allow your tank to empty.
7. Rinse your tank very thoroughly.
8. Close your black tank valve.
9. Repeat if necessary.
